Biography

The dusty, desolate landscape of west Texas was not only a place to call home, but it helped spawn Jordan McEwen's love for creating, whether it is visual art, music, photography, writing, or the treehouse he built with the neighborhood kids growing up in Lubbock, Texas.  He has been writing songs most of his life and has served as an educator for over a decade.  In December of 2022, Jordan picked up a paintbrush for the first time.  He studied other artists' techniques until he developed his own style.  His artistic style is minimalist, much like his lifestyle.  Jordan often paints colorful landscapes with clean lines and smooth textures, tree tops from the perspective of someone lying on the ground, black and white nature scenes, and even the occasional UFO landing in the desert.  Jordan seeks to create something that inspires, whether it's inspiring young minds, listeners, or viewers.
